By invitation from Time’s Up Linz, I took part in a week-long “book sprint” to produce a work about visual notation systems for interactive and multi-format content. As a multi-disciplinary team of visual artists, theorists, composers, designers, we produced a practical and theoretical volume reflecting a wide variety of conceptual practice. Naturally my sections of the book focused primarily on the wide variety of notation systems used in creating games (physical and digital) and interactive software.
